"Reel Love": A Short Film

Reel Love - Is what we see in movies real love—or just reel love?

Have you ever looked back at a movie or TV romance and thought...wait, that was actually kind of toxic? You're not alone! The Advocates' Every Teen Counts interns (ETCs) are tackling this issue head-on with their short film "Reel Love", exploring how media shapes our ideas of love and relationships -- sometimes in pretty unhealthy ways.

Created by teens for teens, "Reel Love" dives into the impact of social media, movies and TV on real-life relationships.Let's rethink the message we consume. Let's choose real love -- built on respect, safety and equality.
