Our Black and White Soiree Diamond sponsor, Sotheby’s International Realty, came to the rescue this last Saturday for an urgent volunteer project.

The shelter garden needed tending and replanting. With gardening tools in hand, agents Jeff Pfaeffle, Katherine Wessel, Martha Hausmann, Katherine Schroder, Eeva Turzian and her assistant Tori Hartman, gave new life to the garden.

The dynamite volunteers turned the garden into a healthy source of food for shelter residents. A wonderful range of nutritious vegetables including various types of lettuce, sugar snap peas, carrots, beets, peppers, onions, squash and radishes was planted.

Thank you to Sotheby’s for giving up a Saturday morning to ensure that the garden is ready for the summer growing season. Our clients will be thankful as they enjoy fresh vegetables throughout the coming few months.
