Shelter Supplies –  for client use, such as good condition or new towels, sheets, paper, cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, etc.

Kitchen Repairs – repair cabinetry, back splash, window sill, toe kicks. ($1,200)

Boiler – funds to cover the unexpected replacement of our Shelter heating system boiler. ($7600)

Shelter Office Painting – summer of 2014. ($2,000)

Shelter Van – reliable and safe van for shelter use and to pick-up food at food bank in Twin Falls.

Bus Passes – Mountain Rides discounts them 50% for us. ($2,000/year)

Digital Video Camera – with external Shotgun Microphone for capturing testimonials from clients, volunteers, and event participants. ($700)

Shelter Database – Alice is a complete client database and reporting solution designed specifically for domestic violence and sexual assault agencies.  It would replace and streamline our current, paper file system.  ($2,500)

Rolling Clothes Racks—two sturdy, rolling clothes racks with durable covers for organizing Dress for Success garments. ($200)

Professional Wardrobe for Full-Figured Women—donations of cash, gently used items, or gift certificates to online stores that flatter figures size 1x (16) and up (e.g. Coldwater Creek, CJ Banks, Catherine’s).  These items are used for Dress for Success as well as preparing clients for court proceedings. ($3,000)

New Connections – do you have a friend who would love to volunteer their expertise, has a unique item for our Live Auction, or who you think would invest in our mission?  We’d love to work with you on an introduction, a tour, a program observation, or an informal visit in your home!

Professional Skills - we have ongoing needs for the organization, from manual skills to graphics design.
